Description: On November 4, 2020, plaintiff was peacefully and lawfully protesting in support of the Black Lives Matter movement when he was struck by P.O.s O'Brien, Gregory J. McNamara, Lt. John J. Egan and thrown to the ground. Plaintiff was punched repeatedly in the face by the officers. Other police officers were standing nearby but did nothing to help plaintiff. The officers arrested and detained plaintiff without reason or justification.

Description: On March 20, 2011, Plaintiffs Roy Bissessar and Amrika Shepard were walking when defendant officers stopped them and ticketed Bissessar. Plaintiff questioned why he was being ticketed, at which point the officer placed handcuffs on him, put Plaintiff Bissessar in a headlock and repeatedly struck his face. After falling to the ground, Plaintiff Bissessar was kicked several times before being put in a car. Despite being pregnant, Plaintiff Shephard tried to intervene but was pushed to the ground and handcuffed. Both Plaintiffs were transported to the 106th Precinct where officers swore false statements for criminal charges. Plaintiffs were arraigned on March 21, 2011, but all charges were adjourned on June 1...
