Complaint
Description: On or about May 6, 2023 Plaintiff was documenting a civil march when PO Sandy Vargas informed him where to stand. Plaintiff complied but despite his compliance PO Brian McGinn began falsely arresting Plaintiff, and was assisted by PO Vargas and other officers. Specifically, POs grabbed him, tripped him, forced him to the ground, struck him, and placed excessively tight handcuffs on Plaintiff. Plaintiff was not told what he was being arrested for but complied with all orders. Plaintiff was taken to the 7th Precinct where he was searched in intimate areas, causing embarrassment and humiliation.
