Description: On February 5, 2019, Plaintiff was unlawfully stopped for reasons unknown to him by NYPD Officers Justin Knightner and Charles Morales, and other officers whose names are unknown to Plaintiff. The officers falsely arrested Plaintiff for possession and sale of a controlled substance, on the basis of claims from an undercover officer that Plaintiff touched hands with an individual who accepted money from the undercover officer in exchange for heroin. The officers fabricated evidence against Plaintiff and detained him for 25 hours before arraignment. The charges were later dismissed and sealed.
