Description: In late May 2015, a string of robberies occurred different Dunkin' Donuts throughout Queens. Forensic evidence revealed two suspects with completely different appearances: Plaintiff, and a another man who had a history of robbery. Defendant Officer issued an investigation card for Plaintiff. The real robber was arrested that august by members of the NYPD and confessed to the string of robberies, and Defendant Officers still proceeded with the investigation as if Plaintiff was an accomplice. Plaintiff was arrested at his home in Binghamton, New York on 08/21/2015 and taken to the 109th Precinct, charged with robbery in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
