Description: On April 6, 2018, plaintiff Johnson was lawfully standing outside his vehicle parked on Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn, New York. He was approached by Defendant NYPD officer Shervis, who then directed defendant officer Wilson to arrest the plaintiff without probable cause. The plaintiff was transported to the 69th Precinct and taken to the cell area. In the cell area the defendants were aggressively removing articles of clothing from the plaintiff and thrusting him into chairs. Knowing that the plaintiff had a previous laceration on his leg, the defendants nonetheless threw the plaintiff onto the ground and began punching and kicking him. Description: On December 31, 2011, Plaintiff went to Zuccotti Park with his girlfriend. Plaintiff went here on New Years because of the Occupy Wall Street Movement. Plaintiff was lawfully recording the police activity at the park when Defendants pushed a metal barricade into Plaintiff and others knocking them down. Defendants then sprayed pepper spray on Plaintiff and the group. Plaintiff was blinded, incapacitated, pushed back, knocked down, and sustained a spinal fracture to his hand.
