Complaint
Description: On February 27. 2012, Plaintiff was lawfully present on the streets when he was suddenly accosted by Defendant NYPD police officers including PO Johnathan Kupferschmidt, PO Peter Naboka, and Sergeant Abdiel Cruz. The police officers placed him under arrest for criminal possession of a controlled substance despite not having reasonable grounds or probable cause to do so. Subsequently, the police officers initiated criminal proceedings against Plaintiff. On May 17, 2012, all criminal charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.
