Description: On June 23, 2011, Plaintiffs Cassandra Canada, John Werts and Ineice Cain were asleep at 6 am when a team of NYPD officers broke down their door and entered with guns drawn. Plaintiffs were put on the floor and arrested while the apartment was searched. No contraband was found. Plaintiff Werts requested access to his heart medication and a bathroom, but Defendant Officer Terry Mills denied both, causing Werts to defecate himself. Description: On November 13, 2013, Plaintiffs called a cab service and were driving through the Bronx. Two Defendant Officers in street clothes approached the vehicle, presented weapons, and tapped on the windows telling the driver to pull over. The driver, against the will of Plaintiff passengers drove away. The cab was then blocked by an NYPD vehicle.
