Description: On June 28, 2014 at approximately 6:30 am, the plaintiff was lawfully present near a building in the Bronx, doing nothing illegal or suspicious, when the defendant NYPD officers approached the plaintiff with no legal justification. The officers stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, handcuffed, and detained the plaintiff. They later subjected the plaintiff to a strip search, fingerprinting, and photographs. He remained incarcerated in the NYPD's custody for over 24 hours. He also made numerous court appearances, a result of the defendants' malicious prosecution of the plaintiff. All charges against the plaintiff were eventually terminated in his favor.
