Supreme Court - New York, May 29, 2024
Complaint
Description: On July 24, 2021, Plaintiff had not engaged in any conduct when he was aggressively approached, unlawfully stopped, and placed under arrest despite the fact they had no reasonable suspicion or probable cause to believe that a crime was committed. The defendant NYPD officers violently contorted plaintiff's arms behind his back to which they applied metal handcuffs in an excessively tight fashion. The officers also conducted an illegal and humiliating search of the plaintiff by searching through his pockets and patting him down all over in open view of other people.
