Description: On January 19, 2019, Officers executed a search warrant based upon an investigation that took place over a year by undercover officers. Over this year long investigation, the NYPD gave thousands of dollars to the establishment in the form of payment to enter the Establishment, payment for alcoholic drinks for themselves and other women, and payment for dances from women. Officers searched a bag and found an armed weapon and proceeded to arrest Plaintiff although they never saw her access the bag. Officers had evidence that another individual had access and possession over the bag.

Description: On November 7, 2011, Plaintiff was in his car when three men entered, robbed Plaintiff, and forced Plaintiff to drive at knifepoint. While driving, Plaintiff’s car was struck by another vehicle, and the three men ordered Plaintiff to continue driving. Plaintiff complied. When Plaintiff saw a police vehicle nearby, he stopped the vehicle, and the three men fled on foot. Plaintiff then attempted to explain to Defendant officers Martillo and Blake that he had been robbed and been forced to drive at knifepoint, but Defendant officers ordered him to be quiet and placed him under arrest without probable cause.
