Description: On October 3, 2018 Plaintiff was wrongfully detained by POs Akemathompson and Burroughs and maliciously accused of a crime he did not commit. POs Akemathompson and Burroughs handcuffed and threatened Plaintiff with possible use of firearms, weapons, and physical force. Plaintiff spent several hours at the 44th Precinct and was criminally processed including a strip search before he was released. Plaintiff was forced to expend great sums of money defending himself against the false accusations before the charges were dismissed on January 31, 2019.
