Description: On September 29, 2022, while plaintiff was inside his residence, police officers came and told plaintiff that he was to come with them to the precinct for questioning. Then the officers arrested plaintiff with tight mental handcuffs, without a warrant. Officers never read plaintiff’s Miranda rights and was interrogated by the officers. The officers provided false statement to the District Attorney and plaintiff was prosecuted on charges of Attempted Murder, Attempted Burglary, and other charges. While detained in a correctional facility waiting for his criminal case, plaintiff was assaulted by correctional officers and was sprayed OC spray, leaving him with burning and irritation.
