Description: Plainclothes officer stopped Plaintiff, did not identify himself, and asked him what he had in his pocket. Officer and Plaintiff, thinking he was being mugged, fell to the ground struggling until he was placed under arrest and taken to the 25th precinct. Plaintiff was strip-searched and assaulted by 5-6 officers resulting in 3 fractured ribs, a dislocated elbow, nerve damage to wrist, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, and contusions.
