Complaint
Description: On November 10, 2023 Plaintiff was lawfully on the sidewalk when he was stopped for no reason by PO Thomas Tantillo and PO Liandry Almonte, who arrested and handcuffed him. Plaintiff was unlawfully taken to jail where he was searched without justification and his money and personal belongings were taken. Plaintiff spent many hours in jail before his release. After his release POs initiated a malicious prosecution against Plaintiff, requiring him to appear and defend against the false charges until all were dismissed on January 11, 2024. Plaintiff suffered humiliation, deprivation of liberty, and other damages as a result of this incident.
