Description: On August 21, 2014, P.O.s Marc D. Leonard, James Hemmer, and Joseph Diforte, visited plaintiff at his apartment. When plaintiff stepped into the hallway, one officer grabbed plaintiff’s right hand and placed plaintiff in a headlock. Another office grabbed plaintiff’s left arm and took plaintiff to the ground. The third officer then kicked plaintiff in the face and ribs. Plaintiff was then cuffed and escorted out of the building, while the officers continued to kick plaintiff in the face, slam plaintiff against a wall, and tighten plaintiff’s handcuffs. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct and then to the emergency room for his injuries to the nose and head. Plaintiff remained in police custody until the next day...
