Description: On November 18, 2018, at approximately 8:00 a.m. the Plaintiff, Anthony Casiano was taking a shower in the apartment he shared with his fiancé at 1854 Loring Place, Bronx, New Yrok, when NYPD Detective Reginald Smith (shield #2537) and other officers entered the bathroom without permission and authority and apprehended Mr. Casiano, grabbing him from the shower and slamming him to the bathroom floor. He was hit repeatedly in the left ribs and thighs with a nightstick. Defendant officers, including defendant Detective Smith, also pointed their guns at Mr. Casiano and he was naked when he was removed from the bathroom.
