Complaint
Description: On September 7, 2023, Plaintiff was unlawfully arrested, assaulted, and battered by Defendant Officers Brendan Langenfeld, Michael Renzulli, and other unnamed officers, without probable cause or justification. At the time, Plaintiff was attending a barbecue when an individual arrived on a Moped. Due to recovering from knee surgery and experiencing difficulty standing, Plaintiff received permission from the individual to sit on the Moped while the individual went to a nearby store. Defendants then approached and arrested Plaintiff for possession of a stolen Moped, despite Plaintiff having neither stolen it nor any knowledge that it was stolen. Plaintiff was charged with several crimes, including Grand Larceny, b...
