Description: On January 24, 2017, ten NYPD officers entered plaintiffs' apartment at 285 Throop Avenue in Brooklyn with guns drawn. The unidentified officers thew plaintiff Luis Jimmy Jaime on his head, face down, handcuffed him, and picked him up by both arms. The officers ignored plaintiffs' request to loosen his handcuffs, and his wrists swelled and bruised. The officers refused to show a warrant, and opened multiple safes in the department, taking plaintiff's life savings. Description: On May 25, 2012, Plaintiff James Goldring possessed two unlicensed rifles and one unlicensed shotgun. He accidentally shot his 4 year old. He alleges that NYPD police officers unlawfully searched his premises and destroyed items when he had not consented. Subsequently in July, NYPD Officers Gonzalez, Hospedales, Perullo, Rivera, Ripa, Stallone, Cruz, Kerny, and Post harassed him, his customers, and his business by issuing a large number of minor or nonexistent violations.
