Description: On or about March 1, 2014, Yves Torchon (Plaintiff) was inside a subway car at the Borough Hall station in Brooklyn when he was suddenly pushed to the floor by police officers. Officers alleged that Plaintiff was involved in a fight and immediately arrested him for assault without conducting any identification procedure by the victim. Plaintiff, who maintains that he did not assault anyone, was incarcerated for approximately seven days and had to attend three court appearances.
