Description: On February 8, 2019 Plaintiff Anais Pagan was on the street around 8PM at night when she was subjected to an unwarranted stop and frisk by NYPD Officers Kevin Beasley and Richard Cleri and two unidentified officers. Pagan was acting in a lawful manner, but was stopped and searched potentially because of her age and/or race. Pagan was assaulted in connection with this stop and frisk, as the officers grabbed her, handcuffed her, and exerted excessive force against her. This included battering her head, neck, back, body, and limbs to such an extent that she was rendered lame and has had to seek medical attention, since the injuries prevented her from being able to conduct her normal job.
