Description: On August 16, 2016 on or about 4 pm, Plaintiff Alan Schoenberg was working at HPS Jewelers at 72 Bowery when unidentified men in civilian clothes, who were later identified as Defendant Police Officers Vincent DiForte and Harry Ortiz, approached Plaintiff Alan Schoenberg demanded whether a pair of earrings were Chanel earrings, which Plaintiff Alan Schoenberg said the earrings were not. The plain clothed men then arrested Plaintiff Alan Schoenberg without probable cause for infringement and counterfeiting. Plaintiff Susan Schoenberg approached the commotion asking for identification which the men did not provide, so Plaintiff Susan Schoenberg attempted to return the earrings to their case at which point the men...
