Complaint
Description: On January 3, 2017, Plaintiff was lawfully in the street when POs Yael Padilla, John Doe, and John Roe arrested her. Officers did not have an arrest warrant, probable cause, or any legal justification, and had knowledge that their actions that their actions were based on fraud, perjury, and misrepresentations. Officers assaulted and battered her while detaining her. Plaintiff was subject to a strip search, and was arraigned after her arrest. She was then prosecuted with committing a crime and had to make multiple court appearances to defend herself.
