Description: On June 3, 2014, Plaintiff was with friends outside a bodega in the evening with friends when unmarked police officers arrived. The officers threw Plaintiff against a wall and accused him of being armed. Plaintiff consented to a search, which found nothing. Despite the lack of evidence, Plaintiff was handcuffed, taken to the 44th Precinct and searched again. Defendant officers mocked Plaintiff’s speech disability at the time of the arrest and later at the precinct. Plaintiff was held for 20 hours without being charged.
