Description: On September 3, 2019, plaintiffs were lawfully in the vicinity of 1454 Grand Concourse, Bronx, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, approached plaintiffs and summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained them with excessive force. Defendants then proceeded to handcuff and arrest plaintiffs. While in custody, plaintiffs were strip-searched, and during arraignment they were falsely prosecuted with committing a crime. All charges made against plaintiffs were eventually terminated in their favor. As a result of defendants' actions, plaintiffs sustained severe physical snd emotional injuries.

The officers threw Plaintiff against a wall and accused him of being armed. Plaintiff consented to a search, which found nothing. Defendant officers mocked Plaintiff’s speech disability at the time of the arrest and later at the precinct. Plaintiff was held for 20 hours without being charged.
