P.O. forcefully handcuffed and seized Plaintiff in an excessive manner about his person, causing him physical pain and mental suffering. At no time did Plaintiff consent to the unlawful actions of Defendant. The Plaintiff was held in custody for 4 days before he was released without being charged by Queens District Attorney or arraigned on charges in Criminal Court.

Description: On October 3, 2020. P.O. wrongfully and unlawfully arrested Plaintiff in the vicinity of 41-14 Vernon Boulevard, Queens. P.O. forcefully handcuffed and seized Plaintiff in an excessive manner about his person, causing him physical pain and mental suffering. P.O.s restrained the Plaintiff and his liberty and then took him into custody, causing him to be incarcerated as a detainee in the City of NY Jail, to stay in a local police precinct holding cell, and to Central Booking. The Plaintiff was thereafter held in custody for 24 hours before he was released. P.O. intentionally confined the Plaintiff without his consent.
