Description: On March 18, 2016, at plaintiff's apartment in Brooklyn, Kings County, the defendants (Detective Jeremy Veit, Sergeant Robert Barnett, Officer Amadeo Oktrova and Officer John Iles) unlawfully entered plaintiff's home without a warrant, probable cause or consent. Even though no exigent circumstances existed, the defendant officers proceeded to search the premises, where they allegedly found a gun in one of the bedrooms. Plaintiff was falsely and improperly arrested and charged for felony possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of marijuana. Description: On or about March 18th, 2016, Plaintiff was lawfully inside her residence when she heard knocking at her door. She looked out her window and saw multiple plains-clothes NYPD officers at her doorway. She went downstairs and opened the door and PO Amadeo Oktrova, PO John Iles, DET Jeremy Veit, and SGT Robert Bernett entered her home without her consent.
