Description: On April 13, 2019, plaintiffs Phillip and Latoya Doyley were sleeping in their residence when defendant Officers wearing all black broke the front door down brandishing their weapons and stormed up to the second floor. One of the defendant officers aimed his weapon at Phillip Doyley and shouted for him to get on the floor, and Phillip Doyley obeyed the officer's instruction. Latoya was awakened by all of the commotion and was ordered to get on the floor as well, which she complied with and both Phillip and Latoya Doyley were placed under arrest. Description: On May 16, 2015 at around 5pm, officers approached Mr. Ross, an African-American man, and demanded his ID. Mr. Ross did not have his ID on him, but he explained that his mother who was nearby had his ID. The officers ignored him and arrested him, cuffing his hands tightly behind his back and ignoring his pleas not to cuff him so tightly because of a prior arm fracture. Mr. Ross was denied medical assistance despite being in excruciating pain. All charges against Mr. Ross were false and his arrest was subsequently voided. Mr. Ross was treated at a local hospital for a fractured metacarpal bone and facial abrasion.

Description: Defendant Officers pulled over Plaintiff's car and when plaintiff ran away Sergeant Muggeo shot his weapon at him and other officers maced and assaulted him. On a second occasion, officers approached Plaintiff on the street, searched him, took him to the 75th precinct because of a warrant, and strip-searched him. Plaintiff was given a summons which was later dismissed. On a third incident, Officer Morabito arrested Plaintiff for violating an Order of Protection even though it had been modified to allow his activity. Plaintiff was charged with Criminal Contempt which was later dismissed.
