Description: On or about October 22, 2015, at approximately 6:00 a.m., Plaintiff was lawfully present inside an apartment in Bronx, New York. During that time, NYPD Detectives Robert Hawreluk and Christopher Vaccaro, along with several other officers, unlawfully broke into the apartment without probable cause or legal justification. They entered with guns drawn, pointed at Plaintiff, despite being informed that Plaintiff did not reside in the apartment. The police unlawfully searched both Plaintiff's person and the entire apartment. Plaintiff was subsequently unlawfully handcuffed, falsely arrested, and transported to the 46th Precinct, where Plaintiff was detained and interrogated without Plaintiff consent.

Defendant Hawreluk initiated a false prosecution against plaintiff, and all defendant officers manufactured false evidence against plaintiff. Description: Plaintiff was sitting in his car that was not running when defendant officers pulled alongside him and arrested him for driving with a suspended license and possession of a forged instrument. Both charges were later dismissed. Defendants rear handcuffed Plaintiff despite the fact that he had a broken wrist. On a separate occasion, defendant officers pulled over a vehicle in which Plaintiff was a passenger, searched it, arrested him, took him to a precinct, strip-searched him, and charged him with possession of marijuana and a forged prescription.
