Description: On February 27, 2015, Plaintiff was walking on the street when Defendants-Officers Petar Simonvoic (Shield No. 26955) and Jose Cintron approached Plaintiff without reason, grabbed him in a chokehold, and threw him against a wall. They illegally searched him and threw him on the ground, causing injury. Defendant Sergeant Johnson then arrived on the scene, ignored Plaintiff's complaints, and Plaintiff was taken to 500 Abbot Street and put in a cell. Plaintiff requested to go to a hospital, but was told that if he did, the process would have to start over and ultimately was convinced not to go. Description: On November 28, 2012, Plaintiff was standing on the street when Defendant officers arrived and arrested him for possession of a controlled substance. During the arrest, without provocation or justification, Defendant officers handcuffed Plaintiff and punched him in the head. Defendant officer Richard Johnson slammed Plaintiff's head and face into a parked car, causing Plaintiff to suffer head, neck, back, and face injuries, including fractured/lost teeth. At arraignment for misdemeanor drug charges, Plaintiff pled guilty to a violation, not a crime, and was sentenced to 3 days of community service.

Description: On March 4, 2011, plaintiffs were inside of their home on 80 West 170th Street, Apartment 2A, in the Bronx. Defendant officers stormed into the plaintiffs' home and assaulted, beat and battered them. If defendants had a search warrant for the apartment, it was issued upon the basis of extremely unreliable information, and the police did not follow NYPD policies and procedures in obtaining and executing such a warrant.
