Description: On or about March 16, 2012, plaintiffs were traveling in a taxi to Stella Maris High School in Queens, New York, to watch a basketball game when defendant NYPD officers suddenly pulled over the taxi without cause or reason. After pulling over the taxi, the defendant officers directed the plaintiffs to exit the vehicle. The plaintiffs were then subject to an illegal search with the defendants harassing and threatening harm to them. Nothing was recovered from the searches, but the defendants nonetheless arrested the plaintiffs and transported them to the 100th Precinct.
