Complaint
Description: On February 27, 2012, as plaintiff was leaving a party he was assaulted by defendants. Defendant Cheng interrogated plaintiff as to his reason for being in a public place at that time and falsely accused plaintiff of drinking in public. Defendant Cheng asked for ID and plaintiff complied. Defendant was not satisfied with the form of ID produced by plaintiff and asked for another kind. Plaintiff again sought to comply, but requested his first ID back. In response, defendant Cheng ordered other defendant officers to arrest plaintiff. Description: On September 8, 2012, plaintiff was at 42nd St and 5th Ave, NY, NY, riding his motorcycle and was stopped at a traffic light when he heard sirens coming from behind. Plaintiff moved to the right lane to make room for the emergency vehicle and was struck in the rear by a police vehicle, driven by Defendant Cheng, causing him to fall in the intersection on his motorcycle. Plaintiff sustained injuries requiring medical attention and his motorcycle was destroyed. Defendant issued plaintiff two traffic tickets. Cheng filled out false police reports and provided them to the traffic court. Cheng gave false information regarding facts of plaintiffs' tickets to the traffic court, specifically disobeying traffic control ...
