Complaint
Description: On October 3, 2014, defendant NYPD officer Jeff Grater and five other defendant officers subjected the plaintiff to excessive force, struck him with a police patrol car, knocked him to the ground, punched him in and about his face and body, and falsely arrested him. As a result, the Plaintiff sustained a number of physical injuries including an open wound to his face which required sixteen sutures, bruising of his right eye, abrasions on his body, a concussion, and hearing loss. In addition, as a result of these events, Plaintiff suffered from traumatic stress disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, mental anguish, economic damages, damage to reputation, shame, humiliation, and indignity.
