Description: On June 8, 2022, Plaintiff—a DoorDash delivery driver—was lawfully riding a CitiBike to make his next food delivery. Plaintiff turned off the road to dock the bike, when an unmarked vehicle suddenly cut him off, causing Plaintiff to fall off the bike and to the ground. At this point, several Defendant Officers got out of the unmarked vehicle and grabbed the Plaintiff. Description: On March 6, 2018, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Walter Jones was lawfully inside a bodega located at 342 Ridgewood Avenue in Brooklyn when NYPD officers, including Detective Ryan O'Leary, Detective Patrick Marron, Sergeant Eric Samuels, and Sergeant James Weibert, unlawfully approached him. The officers grabbed Jones, slammed him to the ground, and repeatedly punched him in the face and head without any provocation or legal justification. Officers including Defendant PO Noemi Sierra & Defendant PO Gregory Schoendorf struck him in the head and body with fists, asps & batons, slammed him to the ground, kicked him in his head and body, and ground his face on the ground.
