Description: On October 12, 2014, inside the subway between Queens Plaza South and 27th St, Queens, NY, Gallego was riding home from a friend's house. While sitting, officers approached Gallego and searched the bag he was holding because it had a stitched marijuana leaf on it. Officers did not find any marijuana or other unlawful items inside the bag. Officers ordered him off of the train. One officer dragged Gallego out by grabbing his forearm and threw him on the floor of the subway platform.
