Description: On July 20, 2018, at approximately 10:30 pm, in front of 55 West 110th Street in New York County, NYPD Officer Anthony Bonilla and an unnamed officer approached Plaintiff Crespo, violently grabbed her and threw her to the ground. While she was on the ground, Officers Bonilla and the other struck Plaintiff's back and neck with their knees and hands. Thereafter, they lifted her upward and then slammed her body to the ground, causing serious physical injuries. Plaintiff was handcuffed and held for approximately three hours. Description: On November 29, 2013, plaintiff Kevin Sainte was lawfully walking the streets of Brooklyn, New York. Without probable cause or reasonable suspicion to believe he had committed any crime or offense, defendants stopped Mr. Sainte and demanded his identification. Mr. Sainte complied and provided valid identification. Defendants then grabbed Mr. Sainte by his arm and searched him. No contraband was ever recovered from plaintiff. Notwithstanding, defendants handcuffed Mr. Sainte and took him to the 63rd Precinct. Once at the Precinct, Mr. Sainte, who suffers from a serious medical condition, advised defendants of his condition and asked for medical treatment.
