Complaint
Description: On June 29, 2019, PO Chukwuda Ejimbe stopped Plaintiff's vehicle, arrested Plaintiff, and allowed the others to leave the scene. Officer Ejimbe conducted no investigation whatsoever into the allegation that Plaintiff broke the attendant's window before arresting him. Officer Ejimbe, in his supporting deposition to the prosecutor, lied that he observed the defendant punch a window. Moreover, when Ejimbe searched Plaintiff, he recovered a small amount of marijuana and proceeded to maliciously charge Plaintiff with a possession offense that was no longer part of the New York criminal code.
