Description: On or about July 29, 2023 Plaintiff was lawfully walking when he was stopped, handcuffed, and arrested by PO Michael Meneses (previously the subject of multiple civil rights lawsuits and complaints) and PO John Doe without legal justification. Plaintiff was taken to the 44th Precinct where he was strip searched without results then sent to Central Booking. Plaintiff was released on July 31, 2023 and subjected to a malicious prosecution, requiring him to return to court numerous times over an extended period until all charges were dismissed on August 17, 2023. Plaintiff has been unable to sleep, was forced to miss multiple days from work, and suffered other damages as a result of this incident.

The decedent attempted to flee the danger and Defendant Officers discharged at least 29 bullets at the decedent. He was brought to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries on December 4, 2023.
