Description: On Jan. 23, 2021, an arrest warrant was issued for plaintiff in connection with a Dec. 2020 burglary. Officers identified plaintiff as the perpetrator despite a lack of reasonable basis or evidence. Plaintiff was then charged with various counts of burglary and it was also wrongfully determined he had violated his parole status. Plaintiff was then arrested and jailed. While he was in jail at Rikers Island, plaintiff was assaulted by another inmate and was refused medical care. All charges were laster dismissed.
