Description: Plaintiff answers phones for a woman who provides escort services and on this day an Undercover Officer came and made a deal with the woman. When Plaintiff went to leave, Defendant Officers rushed into the apt, arrested Plaintiff, and caused her serious injury and exacerbation of a prior medical condition. Plaintiff was taken to the 19th Precinct, charged with Promoting Prostitution in the Third Degree and Permitting Prostitution, and sent to Rikers, unable to make bail. Charges were eventually dismissed for failure to prosecute. Throughout her entire arrest, Plaintiff was denied proper medical care and attention that had serious consequences to her health.
