Description: On March 9, 2014, Plaintiff was lawfully within the premises of 2820 West 32 Street, Brooklyn, NY, visiting his cousin who resided in that building. Plaintiff noticed police officers trying to get into his cousin’s door by holding the door open with their feet, and asked the officers what was going on. Officer Rodriguez and several other officers approached Plaintiff, and with no probably cause jumped on, threw to the ground, restrained in handcuffs, and arrested Plaintiff. Plaintiff was taken to a police precinct and questioned. Plaintiff provided officers with information, but the officers were dissatisfied.
