Description: On or about November 12, 2015, Plaintiff was a passenger of a parked motor vehicle. The engine was turned off and the driver was in possession of the keys. The Plaintiff was approached by two officers who, without cause, asked for Plaintiff’s license. During this encounter, Plaintiff was falsely arrested for driving with a suspended license, even though he was not driving. Plaintiff was then handcuffed, placed in a squad car, and taken to the 20th precinct. He was then taken to Central Booking, where he remained until he was released on November 14, 2015. Plaintiff had to appear in court multiple times before his charges were dismissed on May 20, 2016.
