Description: On November 30, 2013, during a wedding event, NYPD officers from the 109th Precinct, including Lieutenant Anthony Kotarski, Sergeant Charles McDonald, Police Officer Stephanie Stewart, and Police Officer Dominic Cappiello, conducted a raid on the premises. The officers allegedly physically pushed, verbally abused, and unlawfully placed hands on Plaintiff, the manager of the catering facility, in a threatening and injurious manner. Plaintiff was then falsely arrested, detained, and imprisoned for over 24 hours without access to his diabetes and heart medication, despite his repeated requests.
