Complaint
Description: On June 20, 2018 Plaintiff was driving in his car in New York County when he was approached by police officer ("PO") Rivera and was directed to exit his vehicle. Upon exiting, PO Rivera and other unnamed police officers, violently handcuffed Plaintiff and was accused/charged with resisting arrest, reckless driving, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Due to the directive of defendant officers, a criminal action was commenced against Plaintiff. Ultimately, the case was terminated in favor of Plaintiff on April 17, 2019
