Complaint
Description: On September 25, 2007, Plaintiff Michael McLennon was assaulted inside his apartment by two former tenants while Plaintiff Richard Campbell rushed inside. Plaintiff McLennon was able to shoot on of the attackers, who fled and dropped a bloody knife outside. After police arrived, they arrested the Plaintiffs for attempted murder and other crimes, and conducted an illegal search of the home. Defendant Officer Steven Deluca organized the search and orchestrated a plan to show the shooting took place outside the home as justification for the prosecution.
