Complaint
Description: On April 17, 2017, Plaintiff was staying the night at a friends apartment. Officers entered the apartment and falsely arrested everyone in the apartment, including Plaintiff. While placing Plaintiff in handcuffs, an officer hit Plaintiff in the back of the head with a gun, pushed Plaintiff to the floor, and hit Plaintiff on the back. The friend explained to the officers that there were drugs in the apartment and they all belong to her, however, officers falsely charged Plaintiff with possession of an illegal substance. Plaintiff was detained for twelve days. All charges against Plaintiff were subsequently dismissed.
