Description: On March 24, 2017 Plaintiff, who was 15 years old, arrived on E. 102nd st between 2nd and 3rd avenues. She had called her mother ahead of time to tell her she would be arriving. Plaintiff had been away for a few days which had caused her mother to worry. Plaintiff's mother had called and asked the police to intercept Plaintiff. when plaintiff was confronted by the police she began to yell at her mother, presumably over the phone, and one of the defendant police officers told her not to talk to her mother that way. Plaintiff then shouted a racial slur at the defendant police officer. Defendant police officer then attacked the plaintiff causing multiple injuries. Description: On September 12, 2013, Plaintiff was at a subway station and observed a PO knock the pen from the hand of an acquaintance who was attempting to record that PO's badge number. Plaintiff threw this acquaintance an additional writing device. In response, the POs arrested Plaintiff and took her to a police station. Plaintiff was released hours later with a summons charging her with Disorderly Conduct. The charges were dismissed.
