Description: On December 31, 2020, plaintiff was approached by police officer Hughes and two other unidentified police officers. Absent warrant, probable cause, reasonable cause or legal justification, the officers stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered and detained plaintiff, using excessive force. This stop was solely the result of plaintiff's race. Plaintiff was then falsely and maliciously prosecuted with a crime. Plaintiff remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated favorable.

Plaintiff presented his Federal ID, told the officers he as federal agent with the Department of Homeland Security, and when asked, responded that he had a firearm. The Defendants told him to step out of the vehicle, grabbed his arm, and trhust him agaisnt the car. Plaintiff stood with bright lights shining in his face for almost an hour until the Defenants said they had verified his ID and could go.

Description: Plaintiff purchased food at a McDonalds and was told by the owner that she was not allowed to sit in the seating area. The owner was only not letting African American teenagers not sit in the location. Defendant Officers then arrived, ordered Plaintiff to leave the restaurant, threw out her food, and then slammed her on the ground and tightly handcuffed her. Plaintiff was arrested and charged with OGA, Resisting Arrest, and Trespass, which were later ACD'd.
