Description: On December 27, 2018, plaintiff was present at 413 Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, where he was working for the day. Defendant NYPD Officers entered the premises and began searching the premises. They did not inform the plaintiff what they were searching for and during the course of their search they seized, handcuffed, and arrested plaintiff and injured him in the process. At no time was the plaintiff engaging in any unlawful conduct. The officers completed materially false paperwork that the plaintiff was standing beside the cash register in possession of a stun gun. The charges were dismissed.

Description: On September 6, 2016, defendant officers chased Mr. Nieves up the stairs to his apartment and arrested him for an expired order of protection. The defendants threw Mr. Nieves on the ground and punched and kicked him causing injuries to his wrists, shoulder, lower back, knee, head
and face.
Mr. Nieves was transported to the hospital where he was handcuffed to the bed the entire time. Upon leaving the hospital, he was transported to central booking and then released.
