Description: On June 6, 2019, Plaintiff was visiting a friend at the Smith Houses, 180 South St. in Manhattan, when Defendant Officers approached Plaintiff and inquired why he was at the premises. Although Plaintiff said he was visiting a friend and the friend inside confirmed that Plaintiff was her guest, Defendant Officers arrested Plaintiff anyway. Plaintiff was taken to the precinct and released after 12 hours. Charges against Plaintiff were dismissed.

Description: On November 30, 2013, Plaintiff was awfully within his aunt's premises on E. 3rd St in New York, NY. Plaintiff was sent by his aunt to but provisions at the store. Returning from the store, defendant Officers stopped and interrogated Plaintiff. Despite Plaintiff telling Defendants his aunt was sick and waiting for him, with no probably cause, defendants restrained Plaintiff in handcuffs and arrested him. Plaintiff was taken to a police precinct where he was questioned and then taken to Central Booking. Plaintiff was released after spending almost 15 hours in custody. After appearing in court three times, the DAs office dismissed the case.
