Description: Plaintiff was having and emotional discussion with her partner at a restaurant where Defendant officers entered to eat. Officers then made homophobic comments towards Plaintiff and when she asked for Officer Garcia's badge number he assaulted her and handcuffed her. Plaintiff was arrested and charged with 240.26 and 205.30, which were ACD'd.

Description: On August 9, 2013, Plaintiff Anthony Anderson, a 45-year-old black male, was unlawfully stopped, arrested and imprisoned by NYPD after lawfully sitting outside a family member's residential building. As the plaintiff prepared to leave the premises, defendant officers Arjona and Charles walked by on their patrol and questioned plaintiff about a nearby closed bottle of liquor. Defendant Arjona advised the plaintiff that he was going to issue him a summons for an open container, however, the plaintiff stated that he had not been drinking, and provided defendant Arjona identification upon request.
