Complaint
Description: On June 7, 2020 at 54-81 Almeda Ave, Queens County, NY, Plaintiff was with a group of his friends, one of whom was setting off fireworks. Plaintiff did not possess, light, or set off any fireworks and did not engage in any unlawful activity. Defendants stopped, handcuffed and arrested Plaintiff. Plaintiff was transferred to the 101st precinct and strip searched. Plaintiff was removed to Queens Central Booking. On June 8, 2020 Plaintiff was arraigned and released from custody. Plaintiff made several court appearances afterwards. On January 27, 2021, the matter was dismissed upon application of the Queens DA.
