Description: On August 7, 2023, Plaintiff stood in the hallway outside the door of his home to get fresh air. Defendant NYPD Officers accused Plaintiff of smoking and trespassing. He was doing neither, and he told them he lived at this apartment. A neighbor also confirmed this to the Defendant officers. A dozen officers then surrounded Plaintiff and arrested him.
